Unabridged Audiobooks

We get a lot of customers asking if we stock unabridged audiobooks - the answer is a resounding "Yes".

If you want to see the unabridged audiobooks that we stock in the library then all you need to do is type 'unabridged' into the search field on the left. This will list all of the unabridged books we have.

We try to stock as many unabridged stories as possible as we know that they are popular with our members. However it is a fact that many of the UK audiobook publishers prefer to abridge their titles, cutting production costs for themselves by doing so. So our stock of unabridged titles is smaller than our abridged titles.

As a postal-based rental library we do have to deal with the additional packaging and postage of unabridged audiobooks which can often be 10-plus CD disc books. In certain circumstances we are forced to split some unabridged titles up so that we are able to place the CDs in the protective packaging that we use to send the books out to you. This should not be too much of a problem - the books that have been divided in this way are clearly labelled as such on the website and all you will need to do is make sure that you order all parts of the book so that they can be sent out to you consecutively.
